ABOUT
ME

I first started working as a manager when I was 16. I was hired to manage a pool and 15 lifeguards. The year after that, I managed over 20 lifeguards. For the next 6 years I was an Assistant Manager for a recreation district and a Senior Resident Assistant. I learned a lot about managing people during those times. I then graduated from law school and quickly moved up to once again being a manager of staff and other employees.
Over the course of the next 25 years, I progressively moved up from position to position until I was managing a corporation consisting of over 1300 employees. I was also still working as a lawyer, mostly focusing on human resources, criminal law, and disability law, although I dabbled in land use law and health/human service issues.
My husband and I own several small businesses, including a real estate business, a gourmet cookie business, a wedding business and a photography business. We also have 3 teenagers in the home, two dogs and a cat.
Passionate About Inspiring & Helping Others
My entire life has been spent helping others. As a teenager I went through training to help peers when they were having emotional issues. I also went through American Red Cross training to be a Disaster Relief worker. Over the years, I volunteered with the Eugene Active 20-30 Club, the Children's Miracle Network, March of Dimes, Rideable, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and Beyond the Formation.
My passion for helping others extends to
